ATEX Tank Heating Blanket

The VSC ATEX tank heating blanket is an ATEX certified modular heating solution designed to optimize domestic and industrial LPG tank environments. The VSC ATEX tank heating blanket prevents tanks from freezing in cold conditions where low external temperatures or high gas supply demand can cause the tank to freeze, restricting gas flow and creating operational problems in industrial and commercial facilities.

The application on large tanks requires the use of multiple modules — 3 bands for 3000-liter tanks, 4 bands for 4000-liter tanks and 5 bands for 5000-liter tanks — allowing the system to be scaled precisely to the tank size and heating requirements of each installation. Each band delivers 420W of heating power across a 180 × 45cm surface area, making the VSC a powerful and flexible solution for large-capacity LPG infrastructure.

Built with anti-static fiberglass interior and exterior fabric, 1cm non-flammable internal thermal insulation and a grounded metal layer for electrical safety, the VSC ATEX tank heating blanket is engineered for safe and reliable operation in classified hazardous environments. The dual non-adjustable thermostat manages temperature at 60°C (temperature reached by the electric blanket), and a 75°C thermal fuse provides an additional safety cutoff.
